STAG-10 In the Wild!

Yeah, since the tube is actually an A5 length and the stag comes with carbine length buffer / spring I'm using it as well – however wanted confirmation from some other folks that the rifle cycles fine with the Gen 2 + spacer since I'm trying to diagnose a few issues I'm having.

I've had mine installed since I got the rifle in Oct 2018, had all my parts waiting for it's arrivel. No issues with it after 500+ rounds.

Not really in the wild but sitting atop something that was wild...
The Stag is my new deer gun too; just need an LPVO.

Thanks, turned out pretty much exactly as I wanted it. The Fulton 18.5 is just right. Ended up with standard charging handle and flash hider but they are good enough for some time anyway, might go Warcomp and gas buster in the future.
That MK11 RAS was pricey but damn I like it, KAC FTW!

Where did you get your Fulton barrel from? Really want one for my built. Everyone is reporting having better results/performance then the MRA and faxon barrels...

yep I got the barrel and matching gas tube from the one that should not be named (not Satan the other one)

Excuse the noob question, but never having built an AR platform before, I've gone down the rabbit hole of online (mis)information regarding proper components... Especially surrounding the UBR gen 2. I'll be ordering the stag-10 receiver set shortly, but I've acquired the following parts so far;

20" Faxon .308 big gunner barrel
Faxon BCG
UBR gen 2
Maple ridge armory .308 H2 carbine buffer 5.0 oz
Strike industries Ar-10 flatwire carbine buffer spring

With this set up, would the included spacer be required in the UBR buffer tube? For the folks running similar set ups, (carbine H2 buffer and spring, rifle length gas) would you recommend a fixed or adjustable gas block? I'm leaning towards fixed for simplicity as long as it's not overgassed... I've been reading on some of the US forums about guys using buffers at 8+ oz with similar builds

yes you would need to use the included buffer spacer for the UBR stock.... the spacer is required if you are running a carbine buffer. Incase you were worrying about installing the stock, its super easy to do. I installed one on mine.
