They're pretty tight on 5rounds on the rear of the bullet as the lance only allows the 5 rounds plus maybe 1mm extra.. the front of the bullet has lots of play before it hits the lance. This shouldn't be a problem as i believe the front of the bullet is where you need the space in order to seat 5 on a closed bolt. Correct me if i'm wrong.

someone gonna try it on a close bolt and let us know?
5 rounds will not seat on a closed bolt... no matter how hard you try to seat it. I just tried it. I'm kinda disapointed There is no play at all on the back of the bullet on the 5th round. C-products needs to lance the mag on the back side of the bullet a bit lower, maybe half a round lower. There is no way to shave material off the follower either as it does not come out of the mag body. You won't be able to load a 5 + 1 in the chamber combination.

At the EESA open house I was trying to explain to this guy with the 858 that he should re-pin his mags, because you couldn't seat them on a close bolt, there was no more room at all after 5 in there. And with 1 ticket for 3 rounds, everyone was buying 6, no fun shooting 3 and 3 or 5 and 1
He didn't get the point of making it 5.75
I guess the internet hates you.
It's simple to figure out. The lance is a metal tab, like a door. 3 sides are cut away and the bottom is still attatched. Just push the tab in so the "door" opens more, thus allowing the follower to go lower.

... Honestly I am shocked that they were made so that they couldn't be inserted on a closed bolt. Perhaps they thought the Customs-Nazi's would not let them through if there was some play after the fifth one was installed (I dislike Canada customs friggin summer students screening and delaying my mail).
Either way I am sure it can be fixed with some tweaking - the next batch as mentioned above might have this addressed; if I ordered some I too would just bend the tabs in some more to gain the needed clearance.
Having 5 rounds is bad enough... having four in the magazine ultra-crap.

Pushing the tab in only gives maybe another 1mm. I still couldnt get my mag to seat.. i'm sure if i really smacked it in hard.. it might have gone. If you push the tab too far in to gain more clearance, one of the coils gets sadwiched in between the follower and the lance and therefore defeating the space gained. The only real solution i've found to fixing this is to shave some of the lance down with a file. This solution is kinda tedious and time consuming but i like my mags to seat like butter. Luckily I have enough mags to hack around with.
