Stainless steel pins

Hey guys, with the model B thumbler how many rounds of 9mm can you do at once for optimal cleaning. If you have a recipe that would be even better. Thanks.

When I do any pistol brass I use a 1 gallon bucket as my measuring cup.
I never weighed how much it weigh's,but I've done a 5 gallon pail of 9mm and a milkcrate full of 40 cal this way.

The pelletsllc pins are advertised as magnetic.
Just bought a bunch but haven't gotten my hands on them yet to check.

The pins from PelletsLLC are definitely magnetic and as far as the model B tumbler goes the motor is the the weak link. I bought just the model B drum and built my own base then mounted a 1/3HP motor I had kicking around. I have 5lbs of pins in the drum and then fill the drum half full or better with brass and fill the rest with water and let tumble 2 hours. This works really well and you can do 500-600 9mm cases or 250-300 .223 at a time.

I'll post a picture later when I get home but there is not much to making the base.
