Ah, correction... just popped into my head that yours is a .308 gun. Those cartridge stops are for 30-06, so yours should actually mount to the cartridge stop pin on the left side and be an entire unit across the front of the feed tray, and ending on the right plate.
I don't recall hearing if the rear piece shown here is required or not, but I'm sure browningmgs dot com will have the answer to that question.
Since yours is a .308, it almost certainly has this already. If it does, an option would be to machine a piece of flat bar to fit in front of it that equates to the difference in OAL of your working cartridges to your nonworking ones... and secure it with something basic and easy to put on or off like a flush screw. This way within a few seconds you can change between ammo and likely have everything run like a top.
