Sten gun trash or treasure??

There was a prototype made by Rosciszewski at SAL. The gun pictured is certainly not a reproduction of the LB prototype.

So how does one play silly buggers with the CFC??? :) .. I have a manufactured, open bolt, semi auto SMG in my hands right now. I would assume that isn't possible unless someone at the CFC allowed it to happen. I am just a regular dude with a Sten copy .. I am not quite sure what all the BS is about, but if I can legally own something that I shouldn't have, I guess we have alot more to worry about than the long gun registry! This thing is great!! More fun than a gun nut should be allowed to have!!

I haven't read much on this "controversy", but it seems to me that if we spent more time helping one another along instead of criticizing what is accomplished by some of the nutz on here, we would be further ahead. Just my 2 cents. I rarely post anything here .. too many critics. BTW Tiriaq, this is not directed at you at all. I am talking about the countless "nay sayers" that live on CGN. :)
 
Call one of the technicians listed above. Find out exactly what it is that you have bought. Let them run the serial number and the registration certificate number. If it comes back as a newly made open bolt semi auto Sten reproduction, great. If it is anything else, someone has been playing silly buggers.
Ask for a copy of the FRT printed report. All the relevant information will be there.

The Rosciszewski gun used a gun driven mechanical magazine. It is a rectangular box, perhaps four times as long as it is wide. It does have rounded ends. Certainly isn't a drum, in the sense of the PPSh drum adapted to this creation. This may be the FIRST Sten adapted to use a drum! An original!

That's why when people look at me for example, someone with a lot of appreciation, they think I am a much more mature person than I actually am. Most adults believe I am about 28 or 29 years old when they meet me, I am just 21!

Gotta love history.
 
Cool, now that I know the RCMP doesn't care about individuals manufacturing and selling firearms to the public I just found a new under the table gig!
My house insurance company will be thrilled to know what I am doing!

The best photos that I have found of this prototype are in Nelson and Lockhoven, "The Worlds Machine Pistols and Submachine Guns, Vol. 2".

BTW, I called George Fraser today, ######## is a legitimate sten manufacturer.
It was interesting to note that there are two manufacturers of stens in Canada, both of them in Saskatchewan. Thanks for the phone numbers Tiriaq.
 
It works for me now. Sounds almost like a ricochet with every shot !

He told me that he is going to make a "duosten" In effect two sten recievers joined together and controlled by one trigger group. I wonder what that will sound like:confused::D
