Sterling Arms International R18 Mk3 Part 1 Review - Specifications and Initial Impressions

That's correct.

- we bought the WK181
- we were lent the BCL Siberian new from a retailer

We do not accept production firearms from manufacturers.

We do accept factory ammunition.

Not really true, the Siberian was handed down to you by the hunting gear guy who also stated that he bought it used from another guy. Both has been confirmed by the guy in your group who needs a work out (maybe it is you).

But that's not a lie? - or maybe it is?

The rifle I had the most malfunctions with is actually one of the type 81 I have. Failure to eject. I fixed it, crude machining at the ejection port. Just saying that because you guys love it so much and please don't tell me that you did not experience this situation.

LINK: Page 6 of the report, we are very clear about the fact that FOC lent it us

As for HGG, this is the second sentence of his report on the rifle (LINK) "This rifle is on loan from the Canadian Firearms Endurance Testing (CFET) group, of which I’m a part and it had 3600 rounds through it by the time it got in my hands."

Please stop making false statements in regards to our activities, you come across as mentally unwell.

Nice editing. I read initial report, haha. I was surprised that his report was not bad, but now I clicked on the link you provided - a change of heart? Adrian (The Hunting Gear Guy) even deleted his initial review on youtube and posted a new one. Haha, you guys really went to great length. I wonder who has mental issues?

Nobody trusts that guy anymore, or maybe as far as I can throw you?

I think you guys are some kind of clan or religion, does it make you mad when someone disobeys you?

Buddy... these are all easily verifiable with a few clicks.

Man alive - what are you even talking about. Certainly nothing relevant to the thread title. People come here to get updates on the R18, not to sift through your erroneous, unrelated and defamatory imaginings. If you want to come up with theories and point fingers at walls, go make your own thread where no one will visit.

So what's a "realistic" time frame for people to be able to have these in hand? 6 months?
If the new Canadian Bolts are good to go, and if testing proceeds smoothly, then I believe that 6 months is a definite YES, with room to spare. My honest gut feel is that this will be a January 2025 release, but that is just a SWAG (Scientific, Wild-Arsed Guess) at this point.

We’re hoping the same thing. It will all come down to the testing: we need 5000 rds through 10 rifles… and to be happy with the results

The positive is, we’re making some great changes from the feedback.

Maybe you can answer this question, what kind of mags will the eventual 7.62x39 version take? Definitely hoping for stanag compatibility.

This sounds good, are you able to start sharing what the feedback is and what the changes may be?

You mean all the feedback you keep deleting or having deleted across CGN?

JR, if you have 50k worth of ammo lying around, I could use a case. ;)

5,000 rds in a single rifle is a sucky thing to do. It is just mindless trigger pulling till you get a blister on your trigger finger and then you have to keep going. Don't know who you are getting to do that but they aren't being paid enough.

I'll buy 5000 rounds and shoot em through the gun if you guys send it back to me to keep after inspection. Offer is on the table!
One suspects that 5,000 rds of 223 would cost more than the rifle is worth ... and after having 5,000 rds pumped through it as quickly as possible, that rifle wouldn't be worth a damn. JR would be a fool not to take you up on this ill considered offer.
