Yeah, look around at the way things are going nowadays.

There is IMHO a  huge difference between a guy who owns guns that suddenly are banned, or who perhaps buys a gun today that might be banned someday...and a guy who buys a gun today that might very well be banned before it arrives at his house next week. Let's face it: this rifle pushes all the buttons required to qualify as a Scary Black Gun. They might as well stamp "BAN ME NEXT!" right on the receiver.

Of course its appearance shouldn't matter...but in reality it does. Of course we shouldn't need to worry about this stuff...but in reality we do.

Truth is, nobody really knows what will happen.

Guys who bought Cryptos and R9’s legally are unlikely to just give them up without compensation.

Then again who knows how owners will be strong armed. Who knows how much top cover the province will provide too?

Being a gun owner right now is very unsettling for those that want, and try to, stay on the right side of the law. It almost seems hopeless.

The money is not important to me. I'd rather have the firearms. I'm not afraid of the govt and their idiotic bans. My freedom and ability to own firearms is so much more important than saving a few dollars.

I have several 12.x guns. Bans are nothing new for me.

She is a retired BC Supreme Court Justice's Administrative Assistant (21 years), a experienced big game huntress, an excellent marksman, an outdoors woman, an awesome mother and wife, she has over three decades in an accounting back-ground, and buying guns that will automatically be banned does not make business sense to her.

In addition she's my best friend.

I think to answer her question, Its like the handgun ban. Panic buying galore, no one cares, everyone knows there wont be compensation.
People are just fed up gonna buy and gonna shoot their legal property. In my opinion anyways.
Also everything and anything if Liberals win will be banned eventually.

Cons aren't the best answer either as they only roll back policy
yet never give us gun owners any good bones. I would like to see the whole system re-done and set up so we are
protected from future governments, However Im a dreamer it aint gonna happen lol.

We are all a little edgy with the up-coming election. We all know the Liberals will continue to cheat with Chinese interference and any other way they can......:(

Massive non-compliance doesn't always work, but count me in.

My firearms are not for sale, I think there are many owners who feel this way.......:)

Lets hope for a Conservative win on the 28th of April. Maybe we will have some freedom for at least four more years.

In all honesty, Im not a fortune teller however, With comments online and posts (I see alot) Pro either party
I get the general Idea of there isn't as much liberal support as people or polls or news or whatever are saying.
Its really reminding me of trumps last election. Im hoping it goes the same way and we get a landslide F U majority.
I however am a bit discouraged as well because it can go any way... Some people in Canada are just not very smart and love the
abuse.

Other than CBC articles posted the vast majority of comments and likes reflect positive for conservatives
as well as the rallys while not trump size.. are pretty big for what it is. While at the same time Carney and sighn are doing
forced photo ops with actual blue collar workers who have no choice but to stand there.

Adding to that, and of course, being totally off-topic, I’ll add that me and my coworkers are responding to polls by saying we’re voting liberal.

Of course we’re not voting liberal, but we want liberals to be confident in their poles and maybe stay home smoking a joint instead of voting.
 
I’ve replied the same way too. When I am asked who I support, I’ve always replied that I’m voting Liberal, or NDP at one of the past elections. This time I lied and said I felt that with Mr. Trudeau resigned, they could start fresh with Mr. Carney and I was excited about Canadian politics for the first time in a long time.
My wife thinks it’s crazy to fraternize with the enemy, and is possibly a bit dismayed to see and hear me be so convincingly dishonest.
This time it was a bit hard to say, it made me wretch one of those little burp-pukes into my mouth. But my dislike for the LPC has made me able to do something as dishonest and disgusting as say I support them.
It’s only a small bit of disinformation in an election, but hopefully it whittles a tiny bit of their strength away. I’m not sure what else I can do to harm the LPC, legally at least, so I like to have some fun with their confidence.

im not buing a rifle that doesnt have nr frt. learned my lesson, and yes it can get banned even with a frt if the government decides to do so... But still better to have a frt then not.
