Humm, maybe my post was... hummm not worded correctly or something.

It was not meant as a NEGATIVE at all, it was more of a comment on a previous tread where one merchant alleged plagiarism, and a direct copy. While it is compatible this is in fact its own gun, its own designe.... not a cad file copy!


In no way shape or form was it ment negatively as if you remember I was quite on your side in the other tread ;) my point was just to point out some of the differences for people who glimpsed and taught it was a copy.

If you're in this shipment, you should have gotten an email, unless I screwed up the address... Which is a serious possibility with my fat fingers.

I definitely did not order one of these. My order number was definitely nowhere between 1900 - 1920, and I definitely did not get a Canada Post shipping notification yesterday afternoon.

According to Tara, my order 199x should ship out in 2 weeks. I ordered on the last day, just a few hours before they stopped sales.
 
Another potential issue I ran into is charging handle compatibility. Due to the slightly shorter length of the receiver I am running into some issues engaging the bolt catch as the charging handle isn't pulling it far enough back. This charging handle works fine in standard ar15s. DD charging handle and even TNAs raptor clone charging handle works in the SAI but just barely. Are there any known workarounds to this?

I believe the issue is actually with your buffer not allowing quite enough rearward travel. Have a look at the MS build forum other people had the same issue.
