I believe the issue is actually with your buffer not allowing quite enough rearward travel. Have a look at the MS build forum other people had the same issue.

I removed the buffer and buffer spring entirely and tried it again. Using the charging handle and moving it slowly I am unable to get the bolt back far enough to lock on the bolt catch. I can stick in my finger and push it further back so the bolt catch can engage. Doing this I've determined its not a buffer issue. It's a the receiver to too short to allow proper movement of the charging handle issue. The receiver itself (total length of upper and lower) is slightly shorter than a standard ar15.

From what i have gathered so far Gen 3 Pmags will not function in their stock form with this set, but if the Magazine Over Insertion tab on the back is filed down then it will work; Has anybody tried out this fix? Trying to gauge whether or not i'll have to return/sell all the gen 3s i bought new for this set.

I wish this product could stay low profile, under the lib Radar.
I'm glad the company can make some profit from it but the more they make, less time people will be able to play with it.

They are not making more. They sold for 1-2 days before the ms frt changed. They are now prohibited and can not be used. Those sold in time are being shipped to their owners.

Kinda glad I didn’t end up getting one. But if the frt / variant part is overturned. I Would jump on it!

How are these prohib? They aren’t named in the OIC or there is no FRT naming it either?

How is anything that they prohibited prohib?

They changed the FRT for the MS from "draws its lineage from a number of rifles and is not an AR-15" to "AR-15 variant prohibited by name" in the middle of the night without telling anyone.

They're making it up as they go along.

I wouldn't say no to an updated order list of what's getting shipped out :)

We'll update you once we get round 2 back from the anodizers.... that should be today or monday. Then it is QC, oil and packaging.

I'm always hesitant to give specific #'s as we may find a bad one in QC...

Will Sterling send a copy of the receiver to ATRS as a thank you for inspiring the TR's design?
