Weaver 46 front and rear or 402 extensions front or rear
Here's the best solution I found for a 200 used for hunting or a varmint outfit.

B-Square one piece base with multiple slots for Weaver type rings. Light and strong, but most important, it allows any scope to be mounted, regardless of tube length.

I have Talley Lightweights on my 200. The problem you can get into is that they (Savage LA including Stevens) is that the action length is longer than most makign scope mounting problematic. I ordered a 200 in 30-06 for my buddy for his anniversary (gift from his wife) along with Weaver rings and bases and a Leupold Rifleman. When I went to mount the scope it was too short to go into the rings. The problem solved itself with an extension ring but you must always measure your scope between the bell and power ring to make sure you'll have enough length. FWIW my 3-9x Burris Signature goes on with about 3/8" movement fore and aft in the Talleys.
Why not,
I like that, is there a product number?
