I've put through probably around 10,000 - 12,000 rounds through my one M&P40, all hand cast 180 gr from wheel weights and loaded with 5.5gr of WSF. Never had any issues... And she does not get immaculately cleaned very often. Usually just a few pull throughs and clp wiping when the bullet lube builds up to the point of affecting the action. Never had a problem. Ever.
 
Should clarify my question to how bad is leading on the Jericho 941 polygonal rifling barrels in 45ACP.

The M&P40 should be factory traditional rifling that supports lead.

I have the Security Stevens 350 with the 18.5" barrel and it is smooth as all get out. WOuld love to have alonger barrel for hunting. As for it being made in China, does not seem to make a difference as it is well made and is still covered by the Savage warranty. I would recomend it without hesitation. And as for the Baby Eagle, I have on in 9mm and it is my favourite semi I have owned and shot.

That was posted by mistake. I cut and pasted another item to make that listing and the sale price from the other item followed. One lucky person got a deal before I noticed it.
 
Price was certainly inline for pistol alone but for another $150 for 500rnds I'd still go for the pkg despite being a reloader. S&B brass is good stuff for reloading. I'd have been happy to take just the ammo at that price.

Why would anyone bother with the $500 baby when the baby with 500 S&B can be had for $650. $150 for 500rnds of quality 45 is sweet.

Even for reloading brass needs replenishing, 45ACPs brass is expensive to come by. Not like the bucket full of 1F 9mm and 40s.

midnight eh! Might just have to jump on the baby. So easy if I didn't have 2 glocks on order.

Baby Eagle barrel

According to Google, the barrel was made with polygonal rifling for a few years, then regular rifling. What rifling do these pistols come with?
 
Great question, if these are conventional rifling I'm in.

I bought the shotgun and am probably going to grab the PPS 50 and few mags when I am down on the weekend. That's 4 guns from SFRC since boxing day, and I am going to be grabbing a pistol too as soon as I up grade to an RPAL. Too bad SFRC doesn't have a point system to earn free stuff/discounts lol
