Steyr L9-A2 Canadian arrival?

I never shot the steyr. Can any current owners comment on what the recoil feel like on this?

Soft. Probably one of the softest I've felt, but my experience with handguns is quite limited compared to most others here. Despite that, I can't recommend it enough. Definitely a top 3 favourite pistol of mine.

The M/L-9's very high hand position, particularly around the rear of the grip, results in one of the lowest bore-heights of any modern pistol. This prevents muzzle-rise and greatly reduces perceived recoil. The high grip position also allows recoil to be spread over the entire width of the hand, further reducing perceived recoil.

Aside from an annoying and distracting habit of occasionally ejecting an empty casing into the firer's forehead, the Steyr 9A1-series of handguns are really very good and far, far underrated (almost obscure). In that regard, they are an unfortunate and surely unintentional secret of the handgun world - at least in North America. Their somewhat erratic ejection has apparently been fully-addressed in the new models, which will be a welcone improvement. I am ready to buy the day they land on NM's shelves!

What alternatives do we have for sights? Not sure I want to retrain myself to these.

Steyr Offer the MF with the following:

Trapezoid Sights
Conventional sights
Conventional sights with tritium inserts
Adjustable match sights

The Tritium and Match sights raise the price by approx $184.00.
Our first batch are shipping with the Trapezoid and Conventional Sights.

Once our shipment is underway, all details and pricing for the CDN market will be on our forum.

I am interested in the match sights. Where can we see the different options. And whet is the waiting time on the diff sights?

We have a new website being created for Steyr Arms and Anschutz, all options will be there, but we wont have the site launched until the end of October.
I post up some photos here shortly.

We are just awaiting the Export permit from the Austrian authorities. Hopefully not much longer.
Once issued, the order is shipped to us via air cargo so it will roll in pretty fast
