As I said, time to save.

I would just buy another 58 and save the trouble. You could get a small militia started in no time! Think of the possibilities!

It'd be great for parties too.

"Yeah...this is my band of militia. They help me out."

HEY YOU;
Perhaps a short trip to our site will provide you with whatever information you need....?
Of course you are basing your opinion on price on your personal observations and trials ?

price is rediculous

I know how about the importers who risk thier time and capital and reputation trying to field what we want stop looking at anything that will retail for more then 500 bucks. Just because you can't afford a Porsche does'nt mean the price is out of line.
The price on these German Made Quality firearms is exactly what it should be or maybe a little cheaper then they should be.

Hey You How much did you pay for the last stg 44 or mp38 you bought??

Well said, I appreciate the chance to own a non-prohibited shooting StG-44 replica for less than $60,000.

Ah to have a time machine, could have had one in '88 for $1300.00 with 4 mags and accessories. I just hope the quality is on par or better than the original,just because it's made in Germany doesn't mean it's quality made...but the chances are better that it is. Time to start saving pennies.

Unfortunately you are mistaken. Only the finest materials and workmanship are used on German goods and no untested product is shipped prematurely. :D If we got France out of Airbus we'd be the main bidders for Boeing's bankruptcy filing by now, damn French! (Whoops, back on topic..).

Heres mine

I hated the ultra blond wood...so I stripped it and refinished with a 50/50 mix of BLO and oak stain
