While on the subject of loading the 7.92x33, I was able to find new Lee dies in that calibre yesterday at Ellwood Epps ($32.00). I think they still had 3 sets left.

It's funny, for decades the only 8mm Kurz dies were made by RCBS. They were semi-custom, and took 6 months to get and cost ~$250.

Now, the kurz round is on the comeback. Ammo, brass and new guns are available. And RCBS has dropped the dies! Redding, Hornady and Lee have all done runs of the dies at prices ranging from $20-$100, but RCBS, the company that was the only source for so long, has dropped from the fight. Strange.

Just a little pissed.... firearm has been paid for since MONDAY, I just called them, and they don't think it's even been sent yet, but not really too sure as everyone but 2 people have already left for the shoot at East Elgin... Said to phone back on Monday.....

Yeah, I talked to John earlier in the week and there seemed to be a lot of commotion there as ppl were getting all their displays, products, etc. ready for the Blast Off event they are sponsoring.

Staff-wise, Marstar is a smaller outfit than most people realize, so I wouldn;t be surprised if they are backed up on shipping this week.

FWIW, I feel your pain. I'm waiting on a few hundred $ worth of stuff from them too ;) It'll get here when it gets here...

I know what you're saying, but I run a buisness as well, and we do a "bit" of mail orders as well. Nothing here gets invoiced until the postage is on the box, and it's on the way to the post office... I can understand delays, but putting that amount on my Visa, and no one knows where it is..... well like I said, makes me a little pissy... If I get a chance, maybe I'll head over to East Elgin when I get done work on Saturday and see who I can talk to.

SGT STRIKER;
Since you are a business man perhaps you will understand the following....
In the case of a firearm we invoice before we make the transfer application with the CFC....
WHY do we do it this way you ask ? Once again the reason is quite simple, in the event the credit card is not valid and we have already transfered the gun we have one hell of a time getting back into the company's name, not to mention all the paperwork....
I will check this out tomorrow morning a revert with the full chronology of events....

PLEASE don't make it sound like we took your money on the 23rd of May and then simply held on to your gun, I can assure you this is NOT the case....

I would also ask you to get your facts staright before naking these wild claims,
YES several of us left for Blast Off Friday (6AM) so we could set up there Friday evening (750km trip) in time for Saturday's fun....
In addition to myself, Mike, Frank, Luc, Marie,Christian, all went down....Leaving only three people in the office and the order desk manned....

It would appear that we simply cannot satisfy people, if we stay here we should attend shoots and demo our products, if we attend we should have stayed in the office....Oh well

John

I double checked my statment, and they billed me on the 23rd of May..... 10 days ago....

Since you're writing from Ontario...you also have to take into account the time it takes for the Ontario CFO to actually approve the transfer of a restricted firearm into your name. Legally, no individual or business can simply ship a firearm to you until said firearm is legally registered to you. I've sold restricted firearms to individuals in Ontario and it has taken up to 3+ months before the Ontario CFO got their act together. For the most part, average wait times are about 2-3 weeks. Maybe a little faster for dealer initiated transfers. You definitely need to chill out dude.
