StG 44

Geeez....

This is turning into a bigger buzz than those CRX...RXC...XRC....what are those things called?

Anyway....Just to keep the dizzy excitement going...

(I just need the ammo, dear MarStar)

since the P in MP is for pistol, does that mean 10 round mags? yeah i know, probably wishful thinking.

Shows you what I know... its going to be available in .22LR

Babel fish translation:

Beside the models illustrated above also following remarks of the BD 44 are available and/or planned:

BD 44 as acquisition-illusory-free Dekomodell
Starting from February 2006 the BD 44 is available also as Geradezugrepetierer
At present we work on the forerunner of the StG 44 the Mkb 42 (H), these presumably at the beginning of of 2007 as BD 42 (H) will appear.
Already in planning a BD is 44 in the caliber 22lr.

Ok, realistically, yes, if this was chambered in a round that is readily available, more people would likely buy it, but it aint, and probably will not be for a long time (and most likely never).

To do so would require more than tooling up a production facility using the existing design, it would require research and development to redesign it, prototype it, test it, and finally produce it. Much easier to just stick with what has already been built and make a top notch copy of that.

Also, if you were to try and do this, your whole business plan is shot to s**t as soon as cheap 7.92 kurz is made available to the Canadian market.

oh yah....

i'll feel ripped off if i get it in a weird cal and then all the other sizes show up....

but... i will be getting these guns.....

HP :)

ps-Im workin on ahome reno and funds are limited for a little bit..... DOH.....

.22, I'm not sure I'd buy, just something doesn't click right. If it were 8mm Kurz or x39, I'd be on it like a fat kid on a doughnut. That being said though, if you're spending that much money, spend it right and buy in the original cal!

Good news for the fat kid, bad news for the doughnut, the BD 44 repro is already available in the original 8mm kurz. I'm deffinitely interested in the original caliber, but I'm also waiting to see what happens with the FG 42. In 8mm mauser, it would be cheaper to shoot. also likely to be non restricted due to its length, almost a meter long with 502mm barrel.

FG42 would be ### in a rifle and im a pimple faced 18 year old on prom night...

Mind you whatever they charged id never be able to afford...but make it 7.62nato...really.............do it.

They did it to k98's and i love em, do em to the other guns so we can shoot em. Not like a repro would be of high collecter value anyways, makem shootable.

OK FOLKS;
To answer numerous questions....
Yes we have taken delivery of the first BD-38 (Mp-38) BD-44 (Stg-44) and the BD-3008. ALL in original calibers. Mags are limited to 5rds.

The Fg-42 should be available in a few weeks. I'll be meeting with the producer at their plant in a couple of weeks.

Keep an eye on our site for the official launching of these new and interesting firearms.

I note with interest that some people want the Stg-44 in "other" than original calibers.... My thoughts are to go all the way, could someone here come up with a set of drawings to convert them to .50bmg ? Surely that would end such dusvcussions ?

Thank you for the interest
John

Haha, wow. So I just might be able to Kind-of own some of the weapons Ive been wanting to collect since I was a young boy. (I was born to late sad as it is)

I just wish I wasn't layedoff. Then I might be able to save for it.. but as it stands I wont be able to get one of these for at least 1-3 years. What are the numbers like? I realize that its pretty early for that sort of question but Will I have a chance at them or is it a pipe dream? I got pretty excited when I read this thread I jumped out of my seat and ran downstairs yelling in fact. Parents = Confused.

Anyway, its good to hear that such interesting weapons will be making it to us. If I miss out on this Ill be very upset but not much you can do at 19 years old haha. I just hope someone around my area gets one, maybe I can get to the range :)

I want a BD-3008 so I can turn it into a STEN.:dancingbanana: Call me crazy but that’s what I want to do. What is the price tag for the BD-3008? Is it going to be cheaper then the StG 44 and the MP 38?
