Scarecrow is correct -- the recent US ATFE decision basically makes it a no go

Look at the fiasco with US LE trying to get Hk416's -- they need to buy a whole gun (no uppers - unless Federal LE) due to ATFE interpretations...

Good day;
None of the above are correct explanations, it is far more complex than any mentioned reason.
Stay tuned for these to appear in the US sometime this year.
John

If they show in the US or not I wont care unless it results in drastic price decrease, otherwise I am just glad they are here and hope they stay long eneugh for my to get money together.

Just a question, are all the different types of wood are available? From the site it looks as though there isnt a choice.

If this has been asked earlier in the thread sorry I haven't read every page.

You could always stick on an original stock.

I'm interested in if the gun has a chrome lined bore should someone decide to shoot surplus ammo in it. Marstar still have alot of real MP44 mags leftover?

MIS-193 7.92x33mm 32* As New N $200.00
MIS-194 7.92x33mm 32* Exc. N $185.00
MIS-195 7.92x33mm 32* VG N $165.00

MIS-166 MP-38 / MP-40 9x19mm 32* Exc+ Y $95.00
MIS-167 MP-38 / MP-40 9x19mm 32* VG+ Y $85.00
MIS-168 MP-38 / MP-40 9x19mm 32* G/VG N $65.00

If this is the case, this is my graceful exit.

Marstar's magazine page shows that all sturmgewehr mags are sold out. They also have price tags about double of what I remember their being.

What are you worrying about if they are all sold out?

Is Adolf gonna come back from the grave and hand make you a few new and cheaper ones! :p LOL

Im sure they have tons of mags they can bring in prices HAVE doubled

when there was few mp44's being shot there was no demand now everyone will want them so they price goes WAY up

they will say costs have gone up and so on but if that was true across the board EVERTHING would also double from tee-shirts to cars and they have not

marstar brings in some really cool stuff but the prices are too expensive

Those prices are still more than fair from Marstar.

If you can't afford one mag and 5 rounds of ammo, you still can't afford the gun! LOL you Jokers!

For the "Budget Minded", you should get a single shot Remington .22.

COYOTE UGLY;
Who told you we spoke with Adolf ? he did promise us more mags at the prices of 60 years ago.... So that should make everybody happy....
Not only will we pay 1940s prices but we will deduct at least 50% from those prices....
Easier to simply pay our customers to take them off our hands, what say you....?

CONTACT 148;
Since you seem to know so much about our business I will issue you the following challenge....
You come down here and show me the "tons of mags" we have for the Mp-38s and the Mp-44s, for every mag we have over and above what goes with the guns we have in stock (including FAs) I will pay you $100./each....
On the other hand should you NOT find any you owe me $100./each.... So based on your claim of "tons" lets limit that to two tons (OK ??)
Mp-38 mags are 3 to the kilo and Mp-44 are about 2 to the kilo....
So 1 ton of Mp-38 mags = 3,000 mags
And 1 ton of Mp-44mags = 2,000 mags
How about it, when would you like to visit ?

While we are discussing our business, I would happily pay you for your expertise and knowledge in sourcing material that we could offer at much lower prices....
After all you seem to have a lot more experience than myself or any of my staff.
Myself I have only been at this (Marstar) since 1984 and obviously have been buying in the wrong countries for the wrong prices....
I look forward your comments by return, feel free to quote your experience and background in the trade.
Regards
John
