Feeding issues are mag or ammo related....STI makes one of the best running 9mm 1911's.
That's right but from my experience I've found some STI 9mm's to be very finicky with what mags you use. From my own experience I had a brand new STI trojan 9mm that kept nosediving with the factory mags. Then I bought some Wilson mags, same problem. Then I bought some cobra mags, same problem.
I was at the range last week and there were 2 guys there both with STI 9mm trojans. They were trying to figure out why one of the guns worked with all the mags and the other gun only worked with a couple of the mags.
I'm not knocking STI's because they are fit very nicely and are very accurate guns and I'm sure there are many out there that run with 100% reliability, however as I said I have seen STI 9mm's with chronic feeding problems.
