Sticky/Grippy 1911 grips

Another vote for Hogue. I bought these ones for 15 bucks at Cabela's:

Although they don't have the same fondle factor as my Colt Competition VZ grips, they're more likely to get the nod for range time.

The best I have ever used are VCD's but he no longer ships to Canada.

If you want the grippiest you can get, stipple the plastic grips that come with your Norinco yourself. Use a larger stipple pattern for the most grip (just like the VCD's).

Here is a pair of 1911 G10 grips I received yesterday. I wanted them basically for cosmetic reasons for my NP29. I must say you wont experience any type of vertical movement with grips like these lol.

The quality and fit is great and they sell for around $30.00 less then similar VZ grips. I have never seen these offered at any LGS's. No fancy package, came in a small ziplock bag.

I paid $59.99, that included tax and shipping! We only have a basic account with Amazon, not sure if Prime members get a better deal.

Nice alternative to VZ. G-10 grips cost much more than they should.

I actually just tried this! The plastic is very dense and didn't do much. Definitely different plastic than a Glock, in which I've stippled before successful!

The original Norkie grips look like thermoset plastic which will not melt with heat, unlike polymer framed Glocks and similar, which are thermoplastic which will melt and can be worked with heat.

I like g10,some people like rubber some like wood and some like plastic
For me g10 is for shooting
wood is for safe queens
Rubber is for people that don't know what they want so they default to houge wrap around
And plastic is the garbage that comes on the gun when I buy it and eventually sits at the bottom of a drawer next to the ####ty cable locks and cleaning brushes that come with guns.

I have too dry hands, have G10 on a 45, and I now what the hell I like and it is rubber Houge on my model 19 , wood on a 14 prefer finger grooves. Colt never did that
The G10 was too sharp in the edge , had to take the points off. I don't have large hands , so that has something to do with it as well.
