OP: I don't mean to pester you but did you ever get a response? 1 1/2 weeks seems like a long time for the CFO to be looking in to it. If I'm bothering you, feel free to tell me to piss off. I'm just really interested in knowing the outcome of this situation.

Not yet. This is pretty ridiculous. I know some government moves at the speed of dry rot, but this is stretching it.
 
The outcome occurred 2 years ago. No answer is an answer.
On a sidenote, I just love how certain threads bring put the best armchair lawyers and experts CGN has to offer.

I can just imagine any court of law in the land accepting "no answer" as an answer.

Should a person accept it in the affirmative or negative I wonder? Since we're talking about possession laws, and not your dating life, not getting an answer isn't going to cut it.

When a friend got declined for possession of his R endorsement, he got an answer. No swinging in the wind, wondering for years.

Love the extra little bit of sour grapes thrown in too.
