D_ said:You have a 9mm major open gun Walter? If so is it a Stinger or Trubor?
no i don't. i regularly repair a single stack in Lethbridge for a guy and the one fellow who has Stinger in alberta and shot the provincials with it had nothing but problems.
Quigley said:Fault 1 - extraction...The 9 mil brass is pretty light so it really flies out. With a conventional scope mount...that can pose a problem (brass hits the mount and ends up back where it doesn't belong.Solution...higher or offset scope mount...or slide mounted optic (Docter or JP)
Quigley said:Fault 3 - Mags. Unless you load really long...you need spacers if you use STI mags. SVI mags are better...but harder to find (and more expensive)
Definitely a plus. :')Quigley said:I also love sitting back and sipping my Vente Cappuccino while all the Super Comp crowd forage for brass![]()

What oal are you going with and with what magazines?
Definitely a plus. :')
Dragoon said:That's not a 'Stinger', is it Quigley?
Dragoon said:Didn't think so. Does the barrel/slide length of the Stinger have anything to do with the 9mm Major 'problems' being experienced?
