I am a fan, having had to reload from a stock pouch while away from the truck during more than one particularly fruitful hunt. The rounds are far easier to access than from a box in your pocket, and I have never had an issue with missing ammo. If your stock pouch is shedding ammo, then I can only presume that you have selected a pouch with the incorrect size of loops for your particular calibre of ammo....

I use a belt cartridge holder. I also dont want to make my light rifles heavier.
I yewse one on the A-5 20 when I'm bewt skewt'in around look'in fur the feathers.
It wants to creep up though.
Need to nawtch it so the nawtch falls over the sling stud.
For those interested in these side slip'awn sawks, don't get the felco closing ones.
The noise is louder than one thinks when they are torn open.

I also wear ahhh shell belt.
Knives and range finder is always there and handy when lod'in up.
