I was looking for a new recoil spring for my m2000 semi auto shotgun. Called Western Gun Parts but they didn't have any so they gave me the number to Stoeger. Called them and they are sending one to me free of charge. Can't beat that!
I have received nothing but excuses from Stoeger Canada. If they are actually attempting to provide customer service these days, I would be happy to hear about it.

Care to share that number please?

Sent my shotgun in for repair almost 2 months ago. I phoned for an update a week ago, left a message have not had a return phone call as of yet.
Ok, this thread is depressing. If I ever receive the spring I'll let you know.
Hmm... this is all enlightening. I've been to the place where Stoeger sends its warranty work MANy times and I know all the people that fix the guns. This is how it works.
Every week, a number of boxed guns arrive for repair. Stoeger also ahndles all the Canadian repairs for Beretta and Uberti. the boxes are emptied ,the guns fixed, and they are all shipped back to the Whitby offices within one week or less, unless Stoeger Canada needs obscure or unstocked parts shipped in from Italy which significantly lengthens repair times.
I can't comment on how long guns sit around in whitby before or after being repaired in Ottawa, but I know VERY first hand how the repairs are done and I find it difficult to believe this is the weak link.
Just got the spring in the mail. Thank you Stoeger!
