Stoeger Tactical Coach Gun

Why? You went and got your shotgun (club) and then didn't secure and account for your family first?

You don't have a plan with them if there is an intruder I guess...?

Straight to the intimidation and butt strikes!

It's in the closet ;)

What's the point of running around the house asking if everyone is OK if you dont have the means to deal with the cause of everyone not being OK?

People here like to use that FBI statistic that says 90-something % of all CCW holders who used the firearm for self defense merely had to show it or just mention they have means to defend themselves. I would apply the same to B&Es. The other less than 10 something % will get a bunch of #4 shot in the gut or shotgun to the body while im pretending it is a C7 with a bayonet fixed if there are multiple attackers who did not run away at the first sight of an armed citizen. Same drill, right.

As for the mall ninja here.
I don't see any arguments relating to the original topic.
I dont even know what the hell you are trying to argue. This is a thread about a SxS with a light and red dot attached. It aint about which one is better, lighter, cheaper, etc etc etc etc etc.
So heed your own advise and stay quiet.

Was referring to over penetration. If all the good guys are behind you, since you secured them, and your weapon, as soon as you thought there was trouble any over-penetration is hitting bad guys. ;)

I like my neighbors enough not to put their lives in danger by blasting slugs or center fire rifle ammo indoors.

Wow... I guess you plan on missing a lot. :)

... a center fire has a good chance of going through the bad guy and out of the wall.

I dont plan on doing any shooting at all, but will if only the circumstances dictate so.

Some people (not necessarily you) here need to see a shrink.

So more parts is more reliable?? Thanks for that logical gem.

TDC

Less parts. Two independent triggers and barrels. That is more reliable unless you are attacked by a legion of ninjas. You are the gem:D Win is right. You really don't know much.

The nature of this thread is based around HD. Note the accessory rails attached to the abortion in the OP and the mention of "tactical" in the title. As to the rest of my posts, would you care to dispute the information I've posted?

TDC

The only thing you got right is that the Stoeger is and abortion and to make things worse, Stoeger is trying to appeal to the kindergarten tactical crowd.

LOL So does that mean you can't hand load for a Semi Auto rifle? Or do you have to check with your Hornady "linear" reloading guide?

I'm not sure where you're going with this. I don't reload, I shoot factory ammo only. Over penetration is always a concern, and so is my safety. Worying about the "what ifs" before you've survived the encounter is retarded.

I must have missed something:confused: I did not see you post anything valid?

My opinion on what is best for HD? Whatever I happen to have on hand when my home needs defending. I see no advantage of it having to look too tacticool or fit into someone else's idea of tacticool. SXS guns are easy to use and would work fine.:D I see no advantage of keeping a firearm that looks like it was designed especailly for HD. I do not think that discussion of deliberate violation of Canadian law is in any way tactical or tacticool:(

Check my previous post regarding the parts count, weight, and price of several shotguns. Obviously the basics have eluded some. The SXS will do the job, but the abortion that started this thread is nothing more than a marketing gimmick for the uneducated. Nothing about the setup is well suited for the role of HD, besides the fact that its a firearm.

Wow, not a lot about the Stoeger on this thread... I was just happy to see that they offer single triggers on the SxS. That was my only complaint obout my coach that I had. I might get a single trigger coach if I can find one.

Stoeger is not worth talking about but this tacticool stuff is hilarious:D
BTW it would not be a coach gun if it had a single selective trigger with auto ejectors.;)

You don't reload? So all you shoot is factory ammo? Was this part of your extensive training? If you don't reload, How can you have an opinion on anything? How does it feel protecting you and your loved ones with Walmart shells?

Yeah ok? The act of an ad hominem attack is one against the character or perceived character of the individual in question. Either way it doesn't matter. Your comment as well as those above lack anything resembling valid arguments thus proving my point.

Try again.

TDC

What is your point, other than you are some type of expert at multiple zombie home invasion?

So you'd rather put your life or your family members lives in danger?

TDC

wow. i give up.

This is like talking to a ####ing brick wall.

At home defense ranges any sort of shot will have almost no spread, and if you miss, no risk of over penetration. It will still be just over an ounce of lead backed by the plastic wad (that on its own makes a nice hole in plywood btw) going at the perp.

But hey, #### logic, eh! Go ahead and blast 5 rounds out of your semi auto, reload, and pump some more out, most likely missing everything and killing your neighbor's kid by accident. I'll see ya at your manslaughter trial.
