flyer problem solved
Well........silly me. I happened to look down at my scope and noticed that it was creeping backwards

. Fortunately there is a slot milled across the dovetails for a setscrew and it was a short piece of work to dismount the ring/base at the rear and drill/tap a setscrew to fit into the slot.
No more flyers and I can now get very consistent 3/4" groups at 30 meters with no flyers. Taking my time and really concentrating on what I'm doing will get me 1/2" groups.
NOW I can work on the trigger and be able to see if I can get some better results for groups.....but I must say that I'm now very pleased with what I'm getting and can't see me being able to shoot the gun much better than what I'm doing right now.
I've got an order out for the following and it should arrive before I get back on the 2nd from a short holiday. With any luck I can get in some shooting time, weather permitting, and report on if the heavier pellets make any difference....and also see if the gun has a size preference for the 10.69 grainers.
