It's actually not too difficult to get drawn for that one, compared to some niche draws we have, I remember you have Yukon connections however and that would be a wonderful way to go.

The 200gr .375 Win soft points in .375 over a stiff load of H4350, if you want to see a horrific mess on coyotes this would be close to the most destructive round imaginable. A 250gr or 300gr HP .454" pistol bullet would likely act the same or better from a .458.

You can get handgun bullets for the 475 Linebaugh to feed the 470 you know...

How well do .454 handgun bullets work in a .458 rifle bore? I've got a plinking load going with 530 grain cast.

The extra 10 shot mags showed up today for my M70 conversion, giving me what has to be one a very few fire-breathing 11 shot .458 Lotts in captivity. I think of it more of a starting rifle than a stopping rifle.

Owned a Freedom Arms .475, very familiar with the 400gr XTP- worth a shot on a Coyote! Dogleg I'd suspect they would do swell, and probably even bump up to seal the bore. Please share a pic of the Lott, it belongs in this thread under the mad genius tag, a Jumanji rifle if you will.

Never had an opportunity to try a .585 Nyati, would certainly jump at the chance now.

Well, that does bring the concept of a drop box magazine into a new light doesn't it! I'm sure if someone came up with a link belt system for the .458, and a way to hang an ammo can on the side of a M-70 you'd make it work.

Not yet. Might be a fun way to whack a South Shore Whitetail though.
