Does anyone know what the storage requirements are for recently prohibited AR uppers? I'm having a hard time keeping trigger locks on them.

No one knows, The prohibition on uppers means you can't buy, import and own them. for now just don't take them out of the house, Keep them lock up along with your rifle if you are really that uncomfortable with it and wait for the buy back program or further instructions.

If I'm not mistaken anything that was NR before the OIC will have to be stored in that manner for the 2 year amnesty. After that assuming some form of Grandfathering, as a Prohibited Device, for 12(x) that's the same as a Restricted Firearm. I suppose they'll up the Stupidity by making you have a Cable Lock through the Ejection Port...

No, not at all. The uppers are now prohibited devices. Same as supressors, full capacity magazines, and grenades.

I believe they need to be locked up but I don't know the rules on storage of prohibited devices.

Yes exactly at all

(g) before doing any of the things described in paragraphs (a) to (f), store the specified firearm in accordance with section 5 or 6 of the Storage, Display, Transportation and Handling of Firearms by Individuals Regulations according to the classification of the firearm on the day before the day on which it became a prohibited firearm;
