Just thought it strange .I've been asked at cabelas to fill out the little " what's your name and address" . And the cashier doesn't even look at it after I was done . I have bought powder at this place in the past and was never asked for anything .
Cabelas??
A few years ago I bought primers from cabelas they needed all that info plus more. Never again will I buy from there. Wholesale has a log but none of it has the right names or anything in it. Have yet to have been asked to fill out anything anyplace else.
Bought a pound of 4350, 3 hours ago at Cabelas, filled out a green piece of paper, Name, address, phone number, handed it to the girl at the checkout. That's it, no pal, no ID, no strip search..etc. I'll definitely buy there again.
Verified all info and checked to see if I was in their store system . No biggie , just checking to see if anybody else does this as a store policy or a change to the laws.I'll by from them again , nobody in cold lake sells gun powder and bonneyville is the nearest place .good service and they have some powder in stock.
