STOWAWAY Rifles 5.7 are in stock and ready to ship

Anyone change out their pistol grips on their rifles yet? I'm not digging the B5 systems that much. Seems relatively fragile and I'd like to switch mine out with something more durable. Thinking Magpul MOE or K2 to keep it easy but I'm still undecided. If you've done a swap, post it up and let us all learn from one another about what works and what doesn't.

I put on an MDT grip because I like the angle better. No dovetail though so the screw pinning the stock is exposed. Ideally a rubberized dovetail would be great, I may have one kicking around, need to go through some parts drawers.

FAB Defense makes a folding AR Pistol grip. I have one on order for ####es and giggles to see how it works with the Stowaway. It has finger swells, which may or may not fit me, so there's already that.... I will post a pic when it arrives some day from Israel via interntional mule train!

Changed out the grip with a magpul one I had kicking around.

Also, our friends over at "Canadiancaliber " just made an excellent video review of the Stowaway rifle. Check it out here and be sure to sub to their channel:

I've had mine for a bit. I quite like the little rifle!

Awesome backpacking gun for fishing remote places or hiking certain areas. I will definitely be ordering the short 5.7 barrel and a 9mm kit once you guys have them in!

How is it that it can have a 5" barrel and be non restricted?

I know our laws are stupidly confusing and needlessly complicated. But I understood it as the OAL had to be 26" or greater to be NR.

I'm happy to be corrected, if I understood this wrong, I just want to understand it correctly.

26" only matters if it's able to fire while folded, collapsed, or otherwise.

Other examples of sub-26" NR guns includes the various Mares Legs and the Keltec ksg tactical.

The one hiccup to this is the Lab will sometimes call stuff a handgun if it's really small - there are two barrel lengths of Mares leg. 12" barrel is a NR rifle, 9" barrel is classed as a handgun.
