(the new Day of the Jackal Assault Rifle)

Yes I know there is no such a thing as an assault rifle, just a feel good Liberal/Democrat term. :(

I am very pleased with the handiness of the 9mm conversion. Thanks, Marstar! Now we just need those Picatinny Buttstock Adapters so that we can play with some different fixed-stock options....

E.T.A. If you are going to put a Bird-Cage Flash-Hider on the end of your barrel, make sure that it is either a 9mm Hider, or has been hogged out for 9mm. Very bad things happen if you fire a 9mm with a 5.56mm Flash-Hider on the end of the Barrel!!!

The 5.7 gun with 16" barrel is surprisingly accurate and I'm impressed with the 5.7's ballistics. I've been consistently hitting a 6 inch gong at 200 yards with a red dot, no need to adjust elevation from 100. By far my favourite plinker at the moment.

And not having to worry about stripping the case coating for a single shot, 5.7 is very easy to reload. Just need a source of cheap 40gr bullets.

Current load is Fed 205 primer, 5gr of CFE pistol, Hornady 40gr Vmax, COL 1.58". With RCBS dies just make sure the expander/decapper is turned out enough or else you crush the necks.

You'd be surprised at how practical that folding Pistol Grip actually is in terms of packing down an otherwise awkward shape!
As soon as I saw your picture, my first thought was that Dark Mountain should make the Fab Defence folders the standard grip.

Even a short stubby grip like the Reptila CQG would better suit the look and function of the Stowaway.
