Stun Cane!

Now if you could just coax the perp to only attack you when your close to an A.C. outlet then you could use a short taser that doesn't draw its power from a battery, hence legal....

Just got mine!!
Question - Has anyone found out if there's a residual charge after activating yet?? (Those mosquito rackets will zap you even after a minute or so of inactivity)
Just wondering.....

Why useless?

Lithium batteries hold their charge longer, so once charged you can just charge the stun cane every few months and you're good. The NIMH batteries lose something like 1% of their charge per day, so you need to charge them monthly. Not a huge deal if you're organized. The lithiums also carry more charge in the same size battery, and they don't have the memory issue...if you put a NIMH battery on charge and then take it off when it's 90% charged, it can cause the battery to not take a full 100% charge in future. Again, if you're organized and put the cane on charge the first Saturday of every month for hours, so it charges fully, then there's no issue.

I wonder how long it will take someone to swap in a new battery and up the amps on this ##### so it will explode your kneecaps on touch....lol

Well, I can see that the halves of the handle are held together with just a few screws... Shouldn't be too hard to take apart.

And besides... NiMH batteries are useless. I read that on the internet.

Please post on this thread when more arrive! Perfect gift for an older friend of mine who is worrying about his safety on work trips to mexico. Worried about wild cattle...
