Funny guy...
Just pulln' your leg bro.
Enjoy the MKIII, I've got a blued target myself.

With the larger diameter barrel?? I'm really stoked about this gun now! what sort of sighting system do you have on it?
actually you have to insert and remove magazine to take it apart;….Saw a video on Youtube where they showed how the takedown is actually easier when the magazine is left in the gun...
Since you're still in a "holding pattern"...lol, I'd recommend you have a look at the CZ line in 9mm along with the Kadet .22 conversion kit. Two guns for the price of....okay, it's the price of two.
Good set up for a beginner and then you have a 9mm when you're ready. I bought both when I decided to add 9mm to my 1911s. All metal too.

unless "somehow" you get rid of magazine safety….
The Kadet was suggested earlier - it's definitely a nice looking gun. I'm definitely a fan of the tactical designed handguns which is originally why I was trying to decide between the Sig Mosquito and the Walther P22. I started with a form before function attitude - which has quickly changed.
If I'm not mistaken, the Kadet is more expensive than the Ruger MkIII. The CZ is really a good looking gun though.
.
Same can be accomplished with other makes, such as Glocks and many 1911s. Something to consider.
Many other makes, as you suggest. Almost all of them![]()
Ive pretty much decided on the Ruger MK 3... I'll save the more "tactical" looking handgun for my Sig Sauer P226 9mm![]()
Looks like I've actually decided to go with the Ruger MKIII despite the "difficult" takedown. Saw a video on Youtube where they showed how the takedown is actually easier when the magazine is left in the gun...
Anyways, the Target model is really nice with the thick barrel (Bull barrel???). Thanks everyone (particularly cadgo) - I wouldn't have even considered had I not asked the question. yeah it's a little more than a lot of the others, but hey...
Thanks again!!!
BTW, Cadgo, Where did you get the image of the Ruger you just posted, I really like how smooth that one looks, which one is that? Is it available in Canada?
