Sulun Arms SS-211 at Tactical Imports!

If you bring in future models, maybe consider a 12" barrel length. It will add minimal weight and length but make it legal to hunt with in B.C. if desired.

what makes it not legal to hunt with?

Edit: Never mind I did not know that was a law.

I believe it's a regulation rather then a law but it's part of our hunting regulations, under 12" barrel is their definition of a handgun.
Personally I think a 12" barrel and full stock would be more useful configuration at a slightly longer length.

Plenty of other offerings out there with a 12" barrel and a full stock. I myself am very smitten with the uniqueness of the sub-660mm OAL length here for a number of reasons. I have owned just about all of the other similar models over the recent years, (Ricol, Armed Trimmer, currently have a Lazer XO12, etc.), and in all my million hours and miles of carrying them through the bush have only once gotten a little too close to a bear. I'm glad I didn't have to use it and I'm even more glad I had something on me just in case, but the reality is for 99.999% of that time I was carrying it and not shooting it. So small, short OAL and light are all very appealing to me. I have given a fair amount of thought into crafting some sort of drop leg holster for ease of carry, but even my customized 26.5" model was too long to be practical, whereas 23" might just be short enough.

So again, very interested to hear any reviews on the holster's practicality.

....AND please bring in wood pistol grips that are designed for the Sulun so it can be turned into a Restricted O/U 12 gauge handgun!

While I don't see plenty of other offerings out there right now for 12" O/U's I can see where for some people such as yourself might like a barrel reduction of 2.2" to make it a little bit shorter and shave few ounces and then get a custom holster to suit your requirements.

Agreed, where are the 12" o/us he speaks of?

I like this, but does the exposed trigger pose a problem? Having a shotgun in a drop holster while walking thru the brush in bear country seems good.
But this design maybe needs improvement? Any other holster (even third party) options available?
edit: nevermind, just found mares leg holsters, lots of options

It's not only about 2.2 barrel reduction , the stock is shortened too, a regular o/u like a lazer arms x012 with 12" barrel, aol is 29".

Bummer about the BC hunting regs. I'll buy one in a heartbeat if you're able to offer them with 12" barrels, looks like a great little shotgun.
