Sulun Arms SS-211 at Tactical Imports!

Just a heads up, I just looked at the TI websight, they haven't gone live yet but I see the buying options will be:

9.8" Fixed choke
9.8" Interchangeable Choke
12.2" Interchangeable Choke

So there you have it BC guys, we're getting the 12" option.

Get ready, they'll be available any day now I suppose.

Didn't see any option for ejectors this time, too bad as the 12" barrel would have made them a bit easier to actuate. I guess those defects with ejectors are a bit of unicorns now.

They were pre-production prototypes is my understanding, and ultimately do to the stiffness the final production was determined to be extractor only.

This is why they were sold as defects and not as full-priced working units.

Then so is the RCMP.

Check the notes to FRN 139668 (That's the Dlask shorty) - I believe this would apply here too:

"this firearm is normally Non-Restricted unless affected by the following conditions:1) by combining a barrel from a licensed firearms manufacturer that is less than 406mm (16.0") in length and a receiver/frame fitted with a pistol grip only, this firearm may be deemed a "handgun" and therefore "RESTRICTED" under the definition of "restricted firearm" in Part III/Firearms and Other Weapons of Section 84 (1) (a) of theCriminal Code of Canada."

Sub 26" OAL restriction only applies to firearms when this is reached via folding, telescoping or otherwise. Since the SS-211 has a fixed OAL and is not a handgun, it is therefore non-restricted. FRT# 194951-7

From TI's website and OP like i mentioned

In law MAY be vs SHALL be are key. They may have been able to reinterpret that for whatever reason but its pretty clear here. Any lawyer worth their salt would be able to fight that 'may be' a handgun thing.

Hey TI, have you considered a 20 or even 28 gauge version? I have a 12, and really like it.... but it does kick, especially with slugs!
