Summer Slam IX Aug. 8-9th *Registration Not Yet Open*

Your right, but the clubs board of directors can revoke his invite, especially in Ontario where it is a legal document in regards to an ATT. IPSC are guests at clubs.

I don't think that is a road that any board should travel down. What if I was on a Club board, and decided to revoke invites, to say, all New Bruswicks team shooters at the next Nationals?

The only reasons to revoke a shooter's invite should be:
1. Their IPSC membership has lapsed.
2. Their BB has been suspended due to too many DQ'S.

Uninviting someone over a difference of opinion either in person or over the intertoobs is petty and childish.

In Ontario there is also IPSC Ontario match policy. What you are suggesting could lead to revoking the match sanctioning for said club...

No club board of directors will allow a outside organization to say how there club is run. If you think so IPSC Ontario will be toast with few clubs to shoot at. As said before IPSC Ontario are guests and they should get this through their heads. You forget not all directors of clubs are in love with IPSC.. If a person is disruptive or has a penchant for defamatory remarks in regards to the operations of a club as in most clubs rules expulsion is a option.

If club want to affiliate with IPSC, they have to play by the rules and that is what match sanctioning is for. IPSC is one of the most profitable shooting sports for local clubs, so it goes both ways.

In most cases "disruptive or has a penchant for defamatory remarks in regards to the operations of a club" is completely subjective. Personally I haven't said anything here that wasn't true or hasn't happen at the last year match. I was there, so all of that is the first hand experience and I just described how I and other competitors were treated at the match. There are always good and bad things happening at any event and if event organizers are not willing to accept the things for what they are and note them for their future matches, but instead prefer to blame their competitors, because they been doing it like that for 8 years, there is nothing I can do about that.

Uspsa is pretty clear on this....if you're going to apply different rules at the match then you can't call it a uspsa match.....clubs cannot override the rules and keep sanctioning

What's this thread about again?

I'm confused.
For some reason I'm thinking its about somebody named Sandy.

Happy Holidays Everyones!!!

I'm happy that people take their time to built matchs... and I respect their involvement in the IPSC sports... nothing is perfect as per our definition... but fun could be there if we adapt a little ;)

See you at the next Summer Slam for fun !!!
