For anyone wondering about grease...I really liked slip 2000 EWG ( G for grease ) but switched to super lube synthetic, it's cheap (home depot online, free shipping for a giant tin of it for $18
LINK ) and I haven't had any issues, safe to ingest if it somehow happened lol, no smell I can notice, colourless and won't stain.
They also sell a few kinds of spray on lube, gonna try one next cleaning time.
If you want something less thick, NLGI 1 or NLGI 0 food rated aluminum greases are available from other suppliers.

Super Lube Typical Applications
Super Lube Grease is a patented synthetic NLGI grade 2 heavy-duty, multipurpose lubricant with PTFE. Synthetic base fluids and the addition of PTFE micro powders combine to form a premium lubricant that provides longer life protection against friction, wear, rust and corrosion. Machinery lasts longer, downtime is reduced, and productivity is increased. Super Lube is compatible with most other lubricants and will not run, drip, evaporate or form gummy deposits, and will not melt or separate.
