So 3ish months ago, my new RMR starts acting up. I take it and the receipt and return it to the retailer. They take it and send it back to Trijicon.

2ish months ago, I get a call to come pick it up. I head down and get it. Everything checks out alright, so I take it. Unfortunately, I never got a chance to actually shoot it until today. Trijicon claims to have "replaced the electronics" in it.

So I go out today and shoot for 20 minutes and maybe put 80 rounds through the gun. The RMR works great, until the 81st shot, and the dot starts cutting out again.

What a piece of #$*#%&ing JUNK. I could have bought a friggin' T-1 and had money in my pocket, but oh no............:slap:

even some of the best optic companies have an occasional lemon...

contact Trijicon directly if you cant get a replacement from your retailer right away.

Well, I don't get it.

I smacked that thing around pretty good over the last half hour and it still works for some reason.:confused: I took the damn thing off the mount and now it works great. I've cycled the bolt a hundred times and let it slam home and the dot is still there.

The last time I sent it in, when I cycled the bolt by hand, the dot would shut off and come on each pull.

I swapped the battery (the old one was changed by Trijicon and maybe 3 months old - they're supposed to be good for 2 years....) and maybe I'll take it out again this weekend and see if it does it again.

I still don't trust it as far as I could throw it, which pisses me off.

Irons, how I love thee ;)

Sorry, couldn't resist. I've got a scope i bought brand new 2-3 years ago and never used. Hope nothing like this happens to me as the warrenty was up a looong time ago. Good luck. I'm sure the company will get it all sorted out for ya.

everything brakes... why the hell they didnt fix it? Maybe it did work for them. I do not think they fire more than 10 rounds a for a test.

trijicon is a good company that make good optics obviously it seems this one slipped threw the cracks but it happens. phone them up and i am sure they will sort things out asap. in my experience never trust a middle man for warranty work if you dont have to. good luck im sure it will work out for ya.
