Only 2 F`s....one a dealer and one a sponser (no names because of protectionism and BS)...bad intel ,worse coms.....don`t need my money.....F%^$ yourself....I`ll find what I need somewhere else and I did and now they see lots of my cash !!

I think Epps is A++ for pricing, at least for powders and primers.

Really? I acquired a ton of small pistol primers from them for $27 / box.



On another note, Questar should be on this list.

I give them A+. I recently ordered from them (online on the weekend) and its already been shipped.
 
Report Card - with some comments
Wolverine : A+ -If they don't have it but can get it, it's yours.
TSE : A -Good to deal with. Some frontline staff confusion though.
Questar : A+ -100% success rate (x7). Thanks Mark.
Arms East : B -One deal, Inconsistent comms. The Stag was good though.
Marstar : A- -Not easy to get hold of but GTG after you do.
Canada Ammo : A -One deal, no problem.
One Shot Tactical: A -Good service and product.
CQB Services : A -Good for those hard to get items.


and for comparison...
Cabela's Winnipeg: D - poor customer service; no product inventory.
WSS Winnipeg: C - mediocre service (except Dennis & Kevin); low ammo inventory.

Overall the service from the supporting dealers is much better than that from the "big outlets".

Wolverine, Marstar, and Canam have all treated me well over the past year.

In one order, someone did make a simple little mistake and listed my order as shipped when in reality it was in their warehouse still. No biggie, a week late. Good customer service makes up for any little mistake like this. I never understand why people go to the forums and rant when they could just as easily have solved their problem with a phonecall.

Honorable mention also goes to Arms East. I was on the verge of a Stag purchase before I got sidetracked financially and had to get a family member out of some hot water (long story lol). So even though I never purchased anything from them (yet), the service and helpfulness was noteworthy.
 
Wolverine Supplies: A
No complaints.

The Shooting Edge: A-
Very good experience overall. Reason for the minus: if the item you want is not in stock, that's the end of the conversation. Unlike Wolverine, they don't seem to be interested in calling their suppliers to check if they can get the gun you want. Or at least I've never had them offer to do so.

Ellwood Epps: B+
A pretty good place; I've probably bought more from them than from any other store. I did, however, once have a not-so-positive experience with one of the gentlemen working there.

Target Sports: B
Friendly staff, but used to be very disorganized. Things may have improved since TSE's takeover; I haven't shopped there in a while.

LeBaron: C-
My experience with them wasn't as bad as some of the horror stories I've read and with the exception of the guys working in the gunshop part of the store, the staff is actually quite friendly and helpful. Having said that, the geezers working in the gunshop do have a major attitude problem.

Honorable mention:
Questar: never bought anything from them, but I did have a conversation with Mark once about an item I was interested in and was highly impressed by how knowledgeable and helpful he was.
 
Questar: A+
Selena and Mark were very helpful and easy to deal with. Very fast shipping and tracking # provided.

TSE: B+

Good service and Good product but a little harder to get straight answers of when was my package shipped? I think they are trying hard though +
 
I've only dealt with Questar, Marstar and Canada Ammo so far, and I have the same complaint about all 3...

...their product reaches my door before I've figured out where to hide it from my wife. :):):)

I wanted an stripped AR-15 lower reciever, registered as a pistol. I tried to buy one from Questar, but they were all sold out. Mark contacted me after the fact and sold me the one he had put aside for himself.

Questar gets my highest mark, an A+. :rockOn:
 
Prophet River Firearms is top shelf as well, recently bought a Leupold scope from them and it was a fantastic price...they even through in some paper targets to get things sighted in. Fast shipping and very responsive via email and phone.

First off how long ago is not important, records are kept, what is important is that I be able to search the archives, need your name, and determine exacly what happened and what measures were taken to correct the problem....

NOT likely before my time as you say, since I have owned Marstar since it was incorporated in 1984....

As you say you fell off the list three times, I admit this would be a first, however there should be three entries under your name on the M-14 "wait list" with time and date....

I am happy that your fortunes have changed and you have moved up....

every time ive ordered from marstar its been a good experience. all my orders showed up within 7 business days and nothing was ever missing. my only complaint about marstar is people buy up all the sig mags before i get to them!
 
Questar is excellent.

Wolverine is one of my favorites, I've ordered 4 HK pistols from them and a truckload of parts for them with no worries.

TSE is excellent for phone orders, 2 guns and an Aimpoint from them and delivery via mail is fast.

Fabsports is an excellent little shop for hard to find parts and such.
 
Questar and Marstar both had a communication snafu on one deal each with me, but both made good in the end! I would recommend both in a heart beat. As for Marstar, I have never seen a man try to make good with people as hard as John, despite fuzzy details and dates from complaintants. Good for you John, you'll get more of my business and my recommendation.
