Prophet River Firearms A+++

Prophet River Firearms
A+++ and more!
Clay was very prompt and very helpful and he has a repeat customer with me because of his great service.......

With all due respect, I generally do not try to inflame others. I don't understand why I received an infraction for disagreeing with a prick that is simply stirring ####. I don't accept that.

My take on the report card:

The Shooting Edge - A - very helpful, very upfront about inventory, been very helpful the one time things went awry, great at getting new toys in country, very solid

Freedom Ventures - A - again, very knowledgable, great guy to talk to, and was very prompt in dealing with a broken sight on one of my STIs. Again, another pillar for the firearms community in Canada.

Frontier Firearms - A - the little engine that could. Ordered from Frontier several times, always prompt and courteous, always in communication even if a delay is possible, these guys are doing great things.

Wolverine Supplies - A - Every time I order from them, they amaze me in terms of product knowledge and customer service. The only reason I wont give them an A+ is because I have not dealt with them often enough (though that will change, given my very positive past history with them).

Dlask Arms - A - for a gunsmith, he has always been accurate in terms of timelines and pricing. As can be seen in numerous other threads about other smiths where this is not always the case, Dlask gets an A from me

Questar - A - have not had many dealings with Questar but every transaction has always been very smooth, with zero complications. I also appreciated their excellent website when other companies were still struggling to get something serviceable on the web.

Marstar - B - I have ordered from Marstar many, many times. Most of the time, they are good. But, and there is a but, their communication has faltered at times. Email is hit-and-miss (more miss than hit) and some of my phone conversations turned into games of "who can I transfer you to". That said, when they get it right, they get it right. I know now to only phone or fax, and its hard to beat their pricing.

Canada Ammo - D - Things started so well. Fast replies to emails, easy to order things from their website. And then I wait. And wait. No replies from emails. Being told to call back because there is no one there to take my order cancellation after two months of waiting for a gun that was in stock at time of ordering (and throughout the two months). Probably would not have been so bad if I would not have had my CC charged almost immediately, rather than when the gun was actually transferred and shipped. Refund was slow incoming. This one actually bothers me because so many other people have had such positive dealings with Can Am (and God knows they have cool stuff that I would love to spend some money on). In the end, that experience left a VERY bad taste in my mouth, especially in comparison to the other positive experiences I have had. Given Mark's fast replies to my email before my order and given other people's experience, I am sure there is alot of good in that company. I just hit that unlucky two month patch.

Here's my report card:

Bits of Pieces: A - I'm aware it's hit and miss with Barry, but I got lucky.

Del Selins: B - Great people. Was sold a Savage Mk2 listed with a ten-round mag, I received a five rounder. I was planning on getting a five-round mag anyways, but I would have been pretty upset if I were expecting a ten-rounder. Shipping was stellar, that's for sure.

Dave's Surplus: B - Received an order is a reasonably quick time-frame. I am missing a rather pricey belt, however, and two days later, no email or explanation. If something's on back-order still, that's fine, but I had no way of knowing (no invoice in the box, even if the stick on the outside says there was).

P&D Enterprises: D - Two years ago, they would have been an A+. My recent encounter, when I was essentially told to take a hike with the new (broken) rifle I purchased not three days before, has changed my views. I was told I had to deal with the warranty myself, they would not deal with it (short of maybe tinkering a bit) if I returned it to the store. To further aggravate things, I asked for a discount and was rather sternly told "NO", even though I was paying almost all in cash (meaning no major card fees - the norm is 3% of the entire purchase), AND was not told if I waited three days, I could receive free mounting of my new $851 scope, plus a small bonus from the Bushnell rep.

In the last two weeks I had dumped over $2600 in that store, at least. Their justification was "that's how things work in the industry". Well here's how I'll deal with my next twenty-six-hundred dollar purchase: I'll take my money elsewhere.

Not impressed with Marstar either. I ordered a NCstar laser got it no problems, 3 weeks after I got it just magically stopped working. Called up marstar and was told tough luck. Also a couple weeks ago I pm'd John with a simple question to help me buy something from them that I wanted. No response. Far as im concerned Marstar just lost out on more money from me ill pay higher prices somewhere else.

and since the the OP is not willing to allow Marstar to defend themselves by supplying his name to them. I'm locking this thread and issuing an infraction.
Rating dealers is fine, spewing unsubstantiated bull#### is not. If you are not willing to provide relevant info in regards to a complaint you will get an infraction for #### disturbing/trolling or whatever you want to call it.

I am f**kin pissed! What the f**kin f**kin f**kin f**k am i being f**ked over for. Usp, research how much of a disrespectful turd this f**k is. Do your job! I'm not the arshole in question!

Rotorwing the rules are clear, no insulting other members. Next time just report his post as trolling type posts are generally locked/removed for #### disturbing the board as well.
