Personally, I'd like to see people contacting their MP's and making a stink about cases like this making it to the courts and the need for law abiding citizens having the right to defend themselves and their property. This ties directly into C-71 imho and I hope that we, collectively, reinforce our position with cases like this. The lawyers in this case are, from what I've read in the past, top notch. My guess is they'll want a trial by jury, who will then turn this case on its ear in short order if it even gets that far.


As a side note, Fundrazr takes 2.9% +30 cents of every transaction which is why I did an e-transfer.



All the best to the family and their loved ones. While it's stressful, they have a whole lot of decent, hard working people that are in their corner.

We're far beyond expecting or hoping for the Canadian government to do what's right! The Canadian Prime Minister is a criminal POS himself who was elected into a majority government by the filth of Canadian society. There is zero possibility that the laws will be changed. Turdeau isn't about to do anything that will effectively deter criminals. He knows that criminal degenerates form a large portion of his voter/support base. They're the ones who got him elected.

That's why fund raisers like this one and the Stanley campaign are so important. It's the last option left for decent, real Canadians...

I have no problem with FundRazr taking it's cut. It's only fair that they take a slice for supporting the cause. They deserve it. Look at what happened to the 'GoFundMe' people after the Stanley campaign. They went chicken#$%@ and bailed on doing what's right when the Lefties screamed 'racism' at anyone who supported Gerald Stanley.

We need such organizations like FundRazr who don't buckle under the politically correct B.S. spewed by those supporting the criminals...

It's like I've mentioned a few times in this thread already. We need the numbers on this FundRazr campaign. That is what will make our voices heard. If only half of the gun owners in Canada donated just one dollar each the message would be massive. It would be too big for the media to ignore.

Consider also that part of the Liberal government's agenda is to eliminate as much as possible the influence of Canadian gun owners on the creation of our laws. That's why bill C17, if passed, will give the RCMP the sole authority to classify and ban firearms in this country. Turdeau and Goodale intend to remove the politician (the people's voice) from this process.

Two million Canadian gun owners do not hold enough political clout to make any effective changes to our laws and the Liberals want to eradicate whatever little political influence that the Canadian firearm owner might have left. Crowd funding gun owners, home owners and property owners as protection against re-victimization by the Crown is the only option that we have left. At least until the federal government is able to shut that down as well...

The police seem to be far more keen on 'victim blaming' than on catching the crooks. When I had my car stolen and after my recent break-in attempt, the cops lectured me on things that I 'should' be doing to deter the criminals. Certain things that I do do actually exceed what they had suggested. When I had my car stolen, I was standing outside only thirty feet away from my running vehicle when it was in my own driveway.

Would anyone here care to suggest what an effective deterrent might have been in that particular situation???

Haven't read all 40 pages so I don't know if its been discussed but I sent an (emt not much but what I could afford) over 2 weeks ago as well as an email and it has yet to be accepted. Seems like noones checking it perhaps? As well I wonder why it hasn't been set up with an auto deposit seems like a no brainer to me.

Just so every one knows, Eddie is set to be back in the court room at 9am today. I'm sure shortly after there will be a media frenzy so keep an eye out for updated stories.

I was standing just thirty feet away in my own driveway! But evidently the thief (correctly) guessed that he could drive faster than I could run and he also knew that our government prohibits me from adequately protecting my property so he just took advantage of that.

In any case I now leave my car running with a steering wheel/brake lock installed until I'm physically in the car and ready to drive away...

I was wanting to remind people myself too so thanks for that. I'm thinking that we'll likely need people like you to keep us updated. I'm not really expecting a 'media frenzy' because there is no 'racism' angle to the story that the Leftist MSM can play to their advantage.

We need also to remind people that we really are all on our own here. The police don't care and why should they? They collect their paychecks whether or not they can or cannot stop or catch the criminals. And the federal government certainly isn't going to help us. Turdeau is a degenerate criminal who was elected into power by degenerate criminals. The Liberals pro-actively facilitate criminal activity and that just isn't ever going to change.

People need to get it through their heads and understand that helping and supporting each other is now our last and only option...
