First time at the range with my new surplus HP 74 Berdan...
This ammo is the best surplus i ever shot...
I was getting 3-3.5 inch groups at 200 yards with my Bushmaster XM-10...
With my FNAR i was grouping 2- 2,5 inch 10 shots groups at 200 yards.
Finally we can shoot accurate surplus without breaking the bank, picture up when Photobucket allowed it...

250 round full reliability, this stuff is hot.

Should be even better out of my Armalite AR-10T, will try it next week... JP.

Can't wait to throw some lead down range with mine too. Seeing how it shoots with your FNAR (even with it's 1-12" twist) it should easely be less than 2" @ 200y with the heavy 10T.

Nice shooting. How do these groups compare with factory Federal or others in the same guns? Compared to other surplus. My evaluation case has arrived by Canpar but my range is currently closed for renovations.

Mine is HP 75 Lot 16. It's berdean primed. Has 42.6gr of fine powder. Pill is a 147gr FMJ-BT with cannelure, seated to OAL of 2.786 to 2.792 (one box)
Brass was very nice looking and annealed.

I notice there was a very nice uniform taper crimp right at the cannelure. The bullet came off easily so no sealant except on the primer.

In my FNAR ( it is my most accurate SA rifle with lighter bullets, not most accurate overall), this ammo compare to Hornady AMAX 155 gr on certain groups, it is certainly made with great care and it show by the results, i am impress with the stuff so far and it turn out to be a great deal given the quality of it... JP.

Well it depends if JP measured the group center to center or if he did extreme spread. It's easier to measure the extreme spread and then deduct the bullet diameter to calculate the group size than guessing center to center directly with the caliper w/o any decuction afterward.

By the way one MOA is 1.047" @ 100 yards, 2.094" @ 200 yards and so on. Meaning that the 10 shots @ 200y group shown in the picture is actually .961 MOA

Great shooting JP
