I see a lot of people complaining about the price of the surplus* Micro Tavors North Sylva brought in. $2,500 for used and abused rifles when new ones go for about the same. I get it, but those original style Micro Tavor chassis' have never been released to the public before as far as I know. As far as the hardcore Tavor fanbase goes, this is a dream come true. A Tavor grail gun so to speak. I of course am immensely biased as I am an IDF veteran but boy am I stoked to have one in hand!
It looks like these specific rifles didn't come from the IDF, rather a domestic security company/police?. The charging handles on both sides give it away to accommodate shift changes between left/right handed guards when the weapon is handed off.
