That seems about right, I do not think there are very many intact SVT38s left in the world.
my WTB marlin39 was 4x over my limit.
I agree, I guess it still can't be imported "legally" into the USA so it would be likely a domestic buyer...as a piece of history it would be a fine piece for any museum etc. Honestly in a better economic climate such as say as little as 2 years ago I think this rifle would have sold for much more.
I went high on a couple of things I sorta liked.
I got the 2.5" cannon and the HK-91. I'm 12(5) so the -91 will stay live...not getting dewatted.
NS
Essentially the same rifle (P-14 in 303) sold at Switzers and Wards in Alberta.
The one at Switzers went for 1.5 x that of the other one.

Anyone see the SVt-38 at Switzers sell for $6500 plus fees. So probably around 8k by the time its in the owners hands.
I wonder how many of these are in Canada?
Some cool stuff at this auction like a Gew98 sniper
The Winchester P14 was a non refurb rifle. Not common at all
I made a point not to kook today , my WTB marlin39 was 4x over my limit.

How about the Cooey 82 missing the peep sight for $621.00
So it's you Marshall that keeps bidding up my Marlin 39A, I have been looking for one as well and they are getting 1000 - 1500
