Production ended January 3 1945I didn't know that they made them in 45
I dont know, was a long time i didnt visit the site but i dont think was there for a long time or would have been sold fast.was it new or had it been sitting there for ages among the SVT's listed?
I tried to find production figures but no luck yet. They made it for 3 days like, i have no idea at that time how many they built by day. I would say less than 3000 could have been built but its only my opinion. Dont know how manys could be here but they are very very very fews for sure. So, roughly how many do you think were made in '45 and how many do you think are floating around Canada?
A Kovrov is my next one. Only built for 6 months or so,they are rare indeed. I return crying in my closet now.....Hard luck man.
The '45 is one of the harder to find for sure.
Hey Joce have you ever owned a Kovrov Arsenal SVT?
I hear they are quite rare.

Its extremely hard to tell. Assuming that your Kovrov is a 1941, about 34 710 SVT were issued as a sniper in 1941, all arsenals included. Kovrov SVT where only supplement so all i can say (with reserve) is that Kovrov SVT are rare, Kovrov sniper are probably even more.Hey Joce, how many Kovrov sniper like mine could have been built you think?

Very nice rifleI was the person who scooped the '45 Tula (Sorry Joce).
Just unwrapped it tonight and will do a more thorough tear down on the weekend.
Receiver stamp somewhat marred by European import/export markings unfortunately.

Three digit serial number.

In an '43-dated AVT stock with only one serial number stamped into it (matched to the rifle serial). Usual refurb EP markings and treatments.
