Today I was awaken by the sound of someone beating on my door 3 times, so I threw some PJ pants, and ended up running down my driveway in bare feet shirtless in -4 (-12 windchill) after the mailman. So I got the package signed for, ran back into the house and opened my package.
Sure enough, my SVT from TradeEx exactly one week after I paid for it.
1940 Izhevsk Yada yada. Awesome shape, no arsenal repairs on the stock.
The mag is pinned with a single aluminum rivet.
I loaded it up with a stripper full of five 54R dummy rounds. When you release the bolt the top round just gets jammed and holds the bolt open. The tip of the bullet just hits bellow the opening to the chamber and stops dead.
If I only load one round into the mad than it feeds just fine.
But two rounds, and the thing jams.
When they're more then one round in the mag, for some reason the top round doesn't point up far enough to feed into the chamber. Instead it stays flat and just drives itself bellow the chamber.
Any idears?

One round in the mag, feeds like it should.
Two and she all goes to hell.
