I bought a reproduction mag from from Corwin Arms... 75 bucks and the rear lugs dont line up with my SVT 40. A little bit of time doing some metal work solved that problem. If he dosent have the mags on his site, id ask him anyways, he has a lot of stuff that he doesn't feature on his site.

OK, emailed them this am to ask if they still have original mags in stock. Website says they have mags but there are no pics so I can't tell if they are indeed originals or just repros...

I guess importing magazines from the States is a big no no as they aren't set to the 5 round limit? I found a place...but I don't want to draw the ire of RCMP....

There are no cheap original SVT-40 mags in US, and I would not recommend you to mess with repro. SVT mags are cheaper here. But technically you can have someone there pin mag to 5 rounds, send it here (provided US party has all export paperwork). And on oue side no paperwork for parts required.

Yeah definitely not originals....repros for $45....but I was expecting to do some work on them even if they were originals.
But I think the 10 round thing is gonna get me in trouble.
