Had my SVT's out the other day. 1941 (4port) 1943 (12 port)
Both shot exceptionally well. Was using corrosive ammo.
End of the day (50 rounds +) the 4 port started not to eject the spent casing.
Lock up. Had to use a rod down the barrel to expel them.
Came home and cleaned both thoroughly.
Corrosive is messy sh!t !!!
This is what I found.
SVT 40 1941 4 port.
To me looks like the rifling extend into the neck, shoulder and into the body.
This is the one that was Not ejecting.
SVT 40 1943 12 port.
If anything the 1941 has way better grouping then the 43.
