SVT40's with FAKE Nazi Markings

Well Gents,

There never was any doubt right from the start.
You should be looking for a Full Refund for your Fake SVT-40's after reading this and post #7:

The marking is not original and is indeed a added feature that is not proper Im afraid. Real German capture proofs are in the SVT section located at mn.net- showing the proper eagels.

For the 2 or 3 people that still believe it's real, good luck with your future purchases!

I see only one picture of said correct marking in the photo section of mn.net. Are there more? Curiously the correct stamp also does not have numbers. What do they mean by overstamp? Finally, why is this taken as a correct example as opposed to a Finn capture humped with a fake eagle? If century added pu scopes to Finn 91/30 why not a few stamps?

Get your Refund! Or keep it and get a can of this for it:

It was Hilarious on the EE this morning. A guy was looking for an SVT-40 and he said in his ad he didn't want one of those Fake Nazi Marked SVT-40's. LOL

Ok, I don't have time to read all the posts and I am not :stirthepot2: but does anyone remember the Nazi marked M44's (this was many years ago) that had come into Canada? Oops, sorry. I finally got to read back through this and see that it has come up.

I'd like to see that too, but I have nothing to submit

Rifle is marked FLPMi standing for the German "Feuer Loschen Polizei Mitau" (Fire Extinguishing Police Mitau) an organization nominally under the SS in occupied Ostland (until then known as the Latvian city of Jelgava).

I never knew that Nazi captured guns had higher premium. My friend had Nazi used SVT-40 and sold it at discount because Germans ruined original markings....

There must be someone, of the thousands of people on this site, who worked or passed by the KRU Repair Depot near Kharkov 1941-43!
We need eye witnesses here!
As for Plan B, I do read a lot of history books that tell a lot about what the average soldier saw. Weapons rebuild in Egypt 1944 by REME and even Yanks. Not much so far on rear echelon units on the German Eastern Front.

It only has a premium to WW2 German collectors. Milsurps are onyl worth as much as the person buying it. Someone collecting un f*cked with original Russian guns would definetly not pay a premium.
