anyone interested in getting together for a rabbit hunt in the brantford area? i have access to private land that has many cottontails and a few jacks kickin around. post here if you're interested and we will go from there.

i just need a rough idea how many people would be showing up so i can double check with the landowner;)

Depending on the date we're looking at. I might be in. (Sorry, between work, the Mrs.' work and promising my daughter to go ice fishing. I can't make a firm commitment yet).

likely this saturday weather permitting. id prefer to have no more than 6 people. anymore would be too large of a group to hunt without having to worry about getting shot.

i have a lab that thinks shes a rabbit dog:rolleyes: that would be coming so any dogs must be friendly.

guess ill just go by a first come basis and it looks like theres already more than enough. the landowner will ok ok with it for sure but now that i know people are interested, ill call him up tonight.

My dog is about as friendly as they get, (not your typical Jack)
but Im not sure about running her infront of people I've never shot with... (young, small, and white) Could be a bad situation...
This saturday is out for me due to a previous commitment, but if you guys go again...
Count me in...
Thanks anyways Cdn Hunter

Man, I wish I still lived down that way. Nothing like a pumped up jack to soak up BB shot. have fun you guys!

cheers Darryl

Lamo, it would be a long drive to acton :D :D

My jack soaking up bb's is exactly what would get someone shot...

Oops, I guess i shouldnt be telling a cop this:D :D :D :D :D :D :D

I would be interested too unfortunately not this Sat. is out gotta work. Keep us posted on other dates.

well i think im off the rest of the week if anyone wants to go out for a bit. ;)

some may be thinkin...why is this idiot going to give away his hunting spots to strangers:confused: well, the only way in and to park is right beside the landowners house and all the people around the bush dont let anyone in to hunt so no worries;)

part that sucks thoguh is ill be lucky if even im allowed to hunt there this fall after they move:(

pm me if you wanna head out tommorow. im not working for sure and have nothing better to do than sit at home and eat all the jerky i just made:D ahhh...the joys of buyin a house and having no $$$ :(

im assuming that CGNers wouldnt do such a thing...hopefully im right.

i also have an e-caller if anyone wants to go for some crows, fox or coyotes. rifles are welcome. rabbit is open until the end of february here so i might be able to get out again before it closes.

My wife gave up the bunny hunting. :(
I will visit the military surplus store on the way home and if I can buy lots of cheap warm clothes then I would still join. :)
