swarovski warranty

The button stopped working on my rangefinder and they fixed it for free...i wasn't even the original owner, my dad was and they never asked for proof although he had probably registered it knowing him. Usually optics companies don't offer extended warranties on electronics so kudos to them and they have gained a customer for life due to their excellent customer service.

Contact a Swaro retailer like Precision Optics, they will provide you with contact information for the Swaro representative. I believe the guys name is Evan Dextraze.

Give the rep a call. I had to leave a message and he called back promptly. He will provide you with a shipping label. Put the label on the box and drop it off.

All you do then is wait months.

The warranty people in the US treated treated me great when my 7x30s center hinge worked loose over the years. It was returned quickly and they'd put new armour on the outside. I thought at first that they'd replaced the binoculars but the internals were still original. Great binoculars, super sharp and they helped put a lot of meat in the freezer in season and birdwatching the rest of the year.

I sent my SLC binos in to the repair center in Rhode Island for refurbishment when they were 19 years old as one of the eyecups was not twisting in and out properly anymore.
Got the shipping label and info required to put on it in order to send them in, and shipped via Canada Post.
They just about rebuilt the whole thing! 6 weeks later is they were back in my hands. Been working fine for 2 seasons since. Only cost me the initial posting.

Just got another back. It took 2 1/2 months, because it was a Kahles, and they had to send it back to Austria, as the New Jersey plant is not yet set up to work on Kahles. They emailed me the FEDEX papers & customs documents. Dropped it off at Fedex, then waited. In 2 days I received confirmation they had it & monthly emails about its progress. Had the reticle replaced due to fuzz growing on it (this has happened on 4 of my Kahles scopes). I've had 10 repaired (mostly reticle replacements now that my eyes are aging) now & it was all easy-peasy. BTW, it took just as long for my 2 Swarovski scopes that I sent in to have #4 reticles installed, even though they stayed in the US. Apparently, they fly over the scopes that have to be repaired in Austria every month in a big batch. Contact SONA (Swarovski Optics North America), they'll walk you through the process.

I had to send my 20-60 eye piece in last year due to moisture getting in it. I was told 4-6 weeks. I had a sheep hunt coming up fast, I emailed explaining my situation, they put a rush on my eye piece and I had it 3 days before my hunt (took about 5 weeks turnaround time). Their time frame seemed pretty long, 4-6 weeks, but they were great to deal with, and stepped up when I really needed it.

I don’t recall where my eye piece went exactly, but it was in the states somewhere.
