So, if, I was to buy these with an american credit card,, and had them sent to an american address, and I went to the U.S. to pick them up, would either border services (Can, U.S.) have a problem with me bringing them back??!!

without the proper export/import paper work, the American side better not find out what you're doing (illegal).
Exactly.
I would guess that until SWFA changes their policy on exporting to Canada, warranty could be a major PITA.
hmm, ...then wouldn't it be great if a Canadian importer went to LOW, and brought in their own brand of scopes?
say, nice [and affordable] prices from the highly reputable $300 SWFA SS fixed powers to something of the Nightforce 8-32Ă—56 NXS type?
bet they'd sell like hotcakes !
OK, not trying to do something illegal but what if a buddy would get it and send, let's say, as a new year gift?
Just curious who/what LOW is?
I see no reason a Canadian importer could not go to the manufacturer and buy the same or a very similar product for sale here. It would be more money of course due to the ever tumbling dollar and higher Canadian osts for everything, but probably still a good deal. - dan
